Running and Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking has become one of the most popular sports over recent years. Nordic walking has captivated beginners and sports lovers because, through using the whole body, it involves most of the muscles. This happens without tiring out the joints since in Nordic Walking you use special poles to help you, similar to the ones used in cross-country skiing. In the Olympia-Region, the paths for Nordic Walking or running are infinite. In the “Running & Nordic Walking Arena” circuit, over 30 different itineraries are marked out, covering a total of 266 km. The three different levels of difficulty for the various paths – with breaks, ability tests, reinvigorating exercises or running in the mountains – satisfy all tastes and offer beginners, and experienced people or professionals, the chance to exploit all the opportunities for leisure and fun that the mountains have to offer.
